Hatwan, Tamara

Violinist from Chicago, Illinois, who attended Northwestern University and the University of Southern California and earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music.

Groups with whom she has worked include the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra, the Long Beach Symphony, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, and the Pacific Symphony.

On 25th March 2010, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra performed Samuel Barber’s Summer Music, Leos Janacek’s String Quartet No. 2 (Intimate Letters) and Jean Sibelius’s String Quartet in D minor (Intimate Voices) at Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center.

Tamara’s discography is massive she is purported to have played on more than 900 soundtracks and she has performed with a wide variety of musicians in several different genres.
