She is an alto choral singer, choral director and teacher who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Hamline University and has performed with ensembles in Minnesota.
She was the leader of the alto section of the Dale Warland Singers and performed, toured and recorded for them for at least 24 years. She has also more recently performed in the alto section of the West Central Singers of Willmar Minnesota.
As a choral conductor she has led the youth group and sanctuary choirs at the Faith United Methodist Church.
Recordings she has performed on include Americana – A Bit of Folk, Sing We of Christmas, Cathedral Classics, December Stillness, A Rose in Winter, Rachmaninoff: Vespers, Christmas with the Dale Warland Singers and the Grammy nominated Walden Pond by the Dale Warland Singers.
As a teacher she taught at the Fridley Middle School and High School as a choral instructor and music/artistic director respectively before her retirement after 31 years.
