He is a bassoonist who has performed as a Principal Bassoon of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
He performed with that orchestra at the 2007 Kiev Festival and in February 2013 embarked on a series of concerts with them entitled “Variations on the Theme of Ensemble”.
He has also performed on the 2005 recording Bortnianski: Musique Instrumentale with the Orchestre Symphonique Leopolis de Lviv.
