She is a violinist born in Montreal, Canada who starting playing the violin and was studying the instrument from four years old. She moved on to begin studies at the Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal when she was nine and in 2000 graduated with honors. Further studies for her master’s degree were undertaken at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, winning the Sallie Shepherd Perkins Prize for Best Achievement and being awarded scholarships by the Canadian Council of the Arts.
Her debut as a soloist was with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra when she was sixteen years old and in 2003 became a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
With the CSO she has performed in educational concerts in the local area and as a chamber musician in the orchestra’s chamber series. In 2011 she began regularly performing in the CSO’s series MusicNOW and appeared at the Art Institute of Chicago in a special concert for its twentieth anniversary season in 2018.
