She is a violinist and teacher who studied for her Bachelor of Music degree at Curtis Institute from 1986 to 1991 and has been active in music in both Canada and Philadelphia. She is the recipient of several Canada Council grants and performed on CBC television and National Canadian Radio.
She became a member of The Philadelphia Orchestra in 1992 and rose to become Principal Second Violin in 2002. She is also a chamber musician and recitalist and has performed with the orchestra nationally and international at major venues and with renowned artists. Other orchestras she has played with include the Victoria Symphony and the Vancouver Symphony in Canada.
Albums se has appeared on include Peter Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 6 “Pathetique”/Dumka by The Philadelphia Orchestra.
In the field of musical education she has taught many students and became the artistic director and co-founder of The Philadelphia International Music Festival summer program at Bryn Mawr College in 1997. She has taught violin at Temple University since 2000.
