He is a trumpeter and teacher born Charles Finton who studied at the Northwestern University, Western Michigan University and University of Michigan.
In his performing career he has been a member of the US Coast Guard Band, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Tim Zimmerman & The King’s Brass and Principal Trumpet of the Kenosha Symphony, the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, the Illinois Chamber Symphony Orchestra, the Easter Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra and many more.
As a teacher he is on the faculty of Trinity International University, Illinois, gives private tuition and has taken part in many masterclasses and seminars.
