Dobrovich, Maximilian (1963-Present)

Violinist from Wiener Neustadt who attended the Joseph Haydn Conservatory and Music University Vienna and studied with Franz Samohyl.

In 1985, he became a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.  Other groups with whom he has worked include Ensemble Wiener Facetten and Wiener Concert-Verein.

Ensemble Wiener Facetten participated in the Festival Internacional de musica clasica de Ushuaia on 8th May 2009.  Their program included the first movement from “String Quintet No. 4 in G minor, K. 516” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “Hans-Jorgel-Polka” by Joseph Lanner and “Kettenbrucken-Walzer, Op. 4” by Johann Strauss.

On 14th November 2011, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra teamed up with the Eroica Trio for a performance of “Concerto for Violin, Cello and Piano in C major” (“Triple Concerto”) by Ludwig van Beethoven at Lincoln Center in New York.

In the field of music education, he has taught master classes in England, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Slovenia and Switzerland.
