She is a soprano who earned her music education degree at the University of Illinois.
Singing in La Crosse, Wisconsin, she became a member of La Crosse Chamber Chorale and the early music group the Elysian Singers. She then went on to become a member of the Dale Warland Singers followed by The Singers, which she has performed with from the first season in 1994.
She has been section leader of the House of Hope and lent her singing talents to the Bach Roots Festival, Minnesota Beethoven Festival Chorale, the Minnesota Bach Ensemble and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale.
As a choral conductor she has been a co-director of the childrens choirs at St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Recordings she has performed on include At the River (American Folks Songs, Spirituals and Hymns) by The Singers, Christmas with the Dale Warland Singers, Walden Pond, Hodie! and Rachmaninoff Vespers by the Dale Warland Singers.
In the field of musical education she has been a teacher at Centennial Middle School in Lino Lakes.
